You will strike gold when you discover Stephen Bly's westerns. This is the first time I have ever encountered his writing and immediately you will be drawn into the Old Time West within the first paragraph. Creede is a man of faith, who is struggling with a broken heart and finds love. He has his share of adventure with guns a bankrobby, women etc..as he sets out to meet with his old army buddies. What I really liked was that Creede was a man who had a walk with the Lord and I was happy to see this shared in the book. The western language, words, and scenery all come to life as you travel with Creede. Thumbs up!
