Ruthie Talk Promotes Reading! "Read America"
Starting January 2010 Ruthie Talk will be promoting reading
Here is how:
By encouraging members of Ruthie Talk to read
By posting book reviews (you may have seen some of these) in the blogs - So members may sort through the selection to see if there is anything that you would like to read and visit your local bookstore. - And of course to read and connect with any authors that wish to blog here as well.
Books donated to Ruthie Talk through are given to Senior Citizen Groups, individuals, clubs, libraries, groups, etc.. to encourage reading for Ruthie Talk's read America
I am encouraging all members to go through your bookshelves and donate books and share your stories here. It can be as simple as getting a bag at the $1 store put a ribbon on it and put a bag full of books or 1 book and write a note "Read America" - http://Ruthietalk.ning.com Social Network come join us! and visit my profile and write your name
So many wonderful authors were sending me books that I wanted to share these authors with others and I am hoping that authors and writiers and readers all connect with RuthieTalk on this too, as I got reading I decided to clear my own bookshelf in the process and to encourage people to read so I thought this would be a wonderful venture for our social network to take a part in. Do something great this year to help others!
